Killmonger eventually finds Wakanda (spoilers!) reveals that T’Challa’s dad killed his own father, demands a ritualistic battle for the throne, gets it, kills T’Challa, and takes over. Those titles are more provocative and more likely to make you click. Politicizing is the new click-bait cuz there’s no money in posting stuff like, “Black Panther was a really good movie!” It has to be, “Black Panther Challenges Hollywood’s Diversity Problem” or “If You Don’t Like Black Panther, You’re a Racist.” I get it. The only reason there are more for Phase 3 is that by that point Marvel had sufficient faith in their writers to start submitting them for Academy awards.īut I wanted a complete list of all the movies, so I could plug the gaps when scripts appeared in the wild. Marvel may not have locked down their Phase 1 scripts much, but by Phase 2, scripts were impossible to get hold of.
